Health Professionals Information
First and foremost, it needs to be said very clearly, that medical use of marijuana is 100% LEGAL in Canada for patients who have received a Health Canada exemption. There are NO legal ramifications for either patient or health care provider to request a medical marijuana exemption. All that is required is for the patient and health care provider to submit the proper forms to Health Canada.
It is a good idea to start out the process by reading the Applicant’s Guide document first. Having done that download the forms required for both you and your patient.
